After the release of her documentary in January 2026, Melania Trump is eyeing an upcoming Amazon Prime docuseries. The first lady’s documentary produced by Brett Ratner, originally earned an abysmally low 10% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.

It reportedly turned out to be a financial loss for Amazon MGM Studios, earning $16 million worldwide against its $75 million budget. Yet, Amazon has once again planned to collaborate with the U.S. president’s wife, this time for a longer project in series format.

Trump’s Senior Advisor Discusses the Upcoming Project

Speaking with Real America’s Voice host Eric Bolling on Tuesday, Melania Trump’s senior adviser, Marc Beckman, said production for the show is currently in the works.

He said, “This fall, we are following the film with a docuseries surrounding the first lady, surrounding Melania Trump. It’s a completely different look at her world.”

The upcoming project comes after Bret Ratner’s Melania underperformed at the box office and received poor reviews from critics.

“She had a theatrical, big-screen vision for the film right from the start,” Ratner told THR. “Melania didn’t want a documentary. She didn’t want talking heads. She said, ‘Brett, don’t hold back.’”

This time, Beckman said the former model’s upcoming Amazon project will give “the viewers a little bit of a peek as to what happens right at the beginning of the new 47th presidential administration.”

What Will Melania Trump’s Docuseries Focus On?

Continuing his conversation with Eric Bolling, Melania Trump’s senior adviser discussed how the show will differ from the previous film. He said, “You might remember, if you saw the film [Melania], we only captured 20 days of the first lady’s life.”

According to Marc Beckman, the film opened “the window, a little bit, into her private life, her marriage, her family.”

“We open a little deeper into her career, as well as her philanthropy,” however, with the docuseries, Beckman asserted it’s going to be different.

“It’s a little bit different. It’s shot different. It’s a different story. It’s a full new experience for the viewers,” he said. Beckman said the docuseries will spotlight the first lady’s “work ethic, that high level, that standard of being impactful.”

Speaking further, Beckman noted the show will premiere on Amazon Prime “this fall,” and even urged people to tune in “because it’s gonna show a part of the first lady that hasn’t been seen yet.”
