Details from Bunnie Xo's memoir might give fans insight into her and Jelly Roll's divorce.
In *Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic*, published in February, the podcaster detailed her relationship and marriage with Jelly Roll, including doubts she had about tying the knot the morning after their courthouse wedding in August 2016.
Jelly Roll proposed to Bunnie Xo onstage at a Las Vegas concert. "Deep down, I was scared as f---," she wrote of the relationship milestone. However, she felt ready to take things to the next level.
"But of course, I live for spontaneity," she added. "And it was exciting as hell, and I loved the passion. Would it end in disaster? Absolutely — but at least we could say it was a fun moment."

The podcaster, who was born Alisa Andrea Carter, wrote that Jelly Roll “specifically asked me not to do blow before the wedding,” but was a “coked-up bride," waking up the next day after their Vegas nuptials “in a booze, Xanax, coke hangover."
Feeling "meaner than a rattlesnake" from activities the prior day, Bunnie wondered aloud if she and Jelly Roll made a mistake getting hitched. What ensued was their first fight as a married couple.
The country singer told her he wouldn't have married her if he wasn't serious. "With one sentence, J had calmed every fear rattling around inside of me," Bunnie Xo wrote.

"For my whole life, nothing had been particularly serious— even marriages could be undone without too much trouble. No one was thinking about forever with me. But J saw me differently. He saw the long game."
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo renewed their vows in August 2023 at the same Vegas chapel where they tied the knot.
