- Jimmy Kimmel is calling out 'con man' Donald Trump and his family over the $11,999.99 commemorative gold coin that they're selling ahead of the UFC fight on the White House lawn this weekend.

- The coin, which depicts Donald Trump on its front, is “not legal tender and has no face value,” according to the online shop's fine print.

- "It takes a special kind of con man to sell your supporters money they cannot spend any place," Kimmel said.

Jimmy Kimmel is calling out Donald Trump and his family for cashing out on his presidency.

The late-night host reacted to the Trump family recently releasing a special edition $11,999.99 commemorative gold coin in honor of the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 event set to take place on the president’s birthday this weekend (June 14). The coin depicts Trump on its front, with its packaging also featuring photos of him and his pal, UFC president Dana White.

“It’s a beautiful coin. Julius UF-Caesar is pictured,” Kimmel said on Wednesday’s episode of *Jimmy Kimmel Live*. “This is one ounce of pure PF70-rated gold. Just for comparison, an ounce of PF70-rated gold in coin form without his head on it goes for about $4,500 bucks, so this is a steal!”

The comedian went on to inspect the medallion’s fine print, which claimed that the souvenir was “not political and has nothing do with any political campaign” and is “not legal tender and has no face value” in the world.

“You really have to hand it to Trump,” Kimmel continued. “I mean, it takes a special kind of con man to sell your supporters money they cannot spend any place.”

He also noted that the White House has rejected the suggestion that Trump’s family is profiting off the upcoming martial arts event, sharing a statement from spokesperson Davis Ingle that read in part: “‘The Fake News’ continued attempts to fabricate conflicts of interest are irresponsible and reinforce the publics’ distrust in what they read.”

Kimmel then cheekily added, “…And that’s why they should all get themselves a Trump Bible!”

The commemorative coin is just one of four different medallions that the Trump family is selling ahead of the UFC event. Their online shop also includes a five-ounce silver version of the gold coin, which retails for $1,324.99, as well as a one-ounce silver coin at $249.99 and a one-tenth of an ounce gold coin at $1,499.99.

Earlier in his monologue, Kimmel reflected on UFC Freedom 250, which he claimed was Trump’s “big UFC-themed birthday party” rather than a celebration of American independence.

“They’ve been billing this as a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary even though it is taking place on Trump’s 80th birthday,” he said. “We’re having a Fourth of July party on June 14th. A holiday that is named the Fourth of July is on June 14th.”

UFC Freedom 250 will see lightweight champion Ilia Topuria go up against interim champion Justin Gaethje. The main event, which starts at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, will be available to stream on Paramount+ on Sunday.
