Patrick Warburton is ready to kiss and tell.

The *Seinfeld *actor spoke about smooching legendary comedian Carol Burnett decades ago when they both appeared on a television show together. “I made out with her,” Warburton admitted about Burnett on a recent episode of *Nostalgia Tonight* With Joe Sibilia on radio station AM 970 The Answer when she was brought up.

“I was 27 at the time and she played a soap star. She played the good sister (the good twin), and the evil twin. And they were both dating the same toy boy, which was 27-year-old me. I had scenes where I was making out with the good one and the bad one.”

“Carol was adorable,” Warburton gushed. “She looked at the director and she goes, ‘Oh, we’re going to have to rehearse this some more,’” he recalled of their scene together.

“For me, it was kind of like kissing mom because I grew up with the family on *The Carol Burnett Show*. But it is funny as I look back. I made out with Carol Burnett...me and the older gals, I don’t know!” he concluded.

Elsewhere in the interview, Warburton spoke about his transition into standup comedy after decades of acting. “In the realm of acting and live-action, I’ve had a lot of really great opportunities throughout the years, and that’s what I really focused on.”

He mentioned working with the late Sam Neill in the Australian film *The Dish*, along with *A Series of Unfortunate Events *on Netflix.

“I love doing what I do, but I’d done standup for a minute when I was 21, and I walked away because I went to South Africa to do a couple of films and I never went back, and regretted it my whole career.”

Warburton had appeared at the Comedy Store in L.A. “back in the day,” and “loved being there,” but walked away to focus on being an actor.

After coming back to standup comedy decades later, Warburton has now done hundreds of shows in the last 2 years.

Up next for Warburton is a standup show at Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in Chester, New York on Sunday, Aug. 9.
