The King of Pop’s youngest communed with fans at Cirque du Soleil’s *Michael Jackson: One* in Las Vegas over the weekend. Prince, 29, descends a set of stairs and warmly greets his famous father’s enduring admirers in video shot by @JPASC24. Prince signs autographs, offers hugs, and chats with the crowd after the circus spectacle set to his father’s voluminous catalog of hits.

In another video, Prince is flanked by *Michael Jackson: One *attendees in the lobby of the Mandalay Bay resort, their arms all raised to cheer for his late father’s big day. “Happy birthday, Michael!” he can be seen shouting in chorus.

Prince spoke on Sunday about his father’s storied career and legacy, which was most recently carried forward by the big-screen biopic *Michael*.

“It has been so special for me to see the impact that this film has had,” he told PEOPLE. “It is really cool to see this new generation become exposed to his music and his message, and I am hopeful it will make the world a better place.”

The actor, philanthropist, and music video producer, worked as an executive producer on the film, which is currently the fifth highest-grossing film at the 2026 domestic box office.

*Michael Jackson: One *launched 13 years ago in Las Vegas. The one-of-a-kind tribute to the eternal hitmaker tells a *Wizard of Oz*-esque story (fitting for one of the stars of *The Wiz*) about a group of four outcasts who learn to embrace their unique talents after being gifted special objects from Michael.

The show functions as a greatest hits concert, featuring renditions of songs like “Beat It,” “Smooth Criminal,” and “Human Nature.”

Michael is played by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, in the biopic.

Back in April, Prince reflected on seeing his cousin step into his dad’s legendary shoes.

“Making home movies to now — here we are, making a major motion picture about my father, his uncle, someone we both love very much... I had the benefit of seeing Jaafar’s transformation over pictures I’d seen on a phone or a computer,” he said. “But the first time that I saw him in person in his hair and makeup was, really, an emotional shock.”
