- Renée Zellweger popped up in the batch of photos that boyfriend Ant Anstead shared to mark his son Hudson’s birthday.

- The Oscar winner and Anstead began dating in 2021.

- Hudson is the son of the reality star and ex-wife Christina Haack.

Renée Zellweger’s role as part of boyfriend Ant Anstead’s family is clear, judging by a social media post the reality TV star shared Wednesday.

While celebrating the seventh birthday of his son Hudson, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Haack, Anstead included the two-time Oscar winner more than once.

A video showed Zellweger running alongside Hudson at the beach, while they were also snapped standing together.

Anstead sent well wishes to the youngest of his offspring. (He shares adult children Amelie and Archie with ex-wife Louise Storey.)

“Hudzo you were born with a light! An unmistakably GLOW around you!” Anstead captioned the footage. “You shine with a beautiful blend of fun, cheekiness, love and so much kindness! You are an utterly brilliant boy and it is a privilege to watch you grow and thrive. I love being your father! Happy 7th birthday Hudzo. Keep on GLOWING! X”

Anstead and Zellweger met in 2021 when she was a guest on his car show *Celebrity IOU: Joyride*. He was impressed by her knowledge of cars, of all things.

Days after his divorce from Haack was finalized, PEOPLE confirmed he and Zellweger were dating.

“She’s a very real person,” Anstead told the *Telegraph* in July. “She’s absolutely brilliant, the most grounded, humble person. If there’s a car job to be done at home, I say, ‘We’re doing this together. Put your overalls on, let’s go.’”

Anstead referred to the *Bridget Jones’s Diary* star as his “missus” in the same interview, but the couple technically hasn’t tied the knot.

“I still believe in marriage, but right now we’re really happy,” he said. “We don’t need the pressure of a label.”

While Zellweger has stayed mostly mum about her relationship, as she does about her private life in general, she did confirm to *British Vogue* in January 2025 that Anstead was the reason she lived near San Diego, Calif.

“Because that’s where my fellow lives,” Zellweger said, before adding, “and his little boy.”
