Fans have already come to the conclusion regarding late Sam Neill‘s role in The Legend of Zelda movie. The live-action adaptation from Sony will be based on Nintendo‘s iconic and beloved video game franchise.
While most of the cast details for The Legend of Zelda movie are still under wraps, avid fans believe they know which character Sam Neill may have played in his last performance. The acclaimed veteran actor passed away last month.

Social media has been buzzing with fan theories and speculation over Sam Neill’s mystery character in The Legend of Zelda live-action movie.
Several fans strongly think that for his last performance, the late actor was featured as King Rhoam, Zelda’s father and the ruler of Hyrule Kingdom. Amid growing hype for the film, one user, named @Avatar_TheAsh, wrote, “I think Sam Neil will be Our Live Action King Of Hyrule!”
Echoing similar sentiments, another fan, @BlackMajikMan90, wrote, “He has to be playing the King of Hyrule. What a way for Sam Neill to go out.” One more fan, @mtonarel, came up with an identical take and wrote, “Sam Neil is definitely the King of Hyrule”

One person, named @Jeremypacheco, tried to connect the dots from Sam Neill’s look from the movie’s set where he was having a beard, similar to King Rhoam’s appearance in Zelda games. The fan wrote, “While still unknow what his role is, looking what he looks with a white bear he clearly played King of Hyrule.”
Another user, @Commonrealm, made a speculation for Neill’s last performance, saying, “This is huge! Sam Neill’s final role and dedication will be in The Legend of #Zelda Movie! Could his role have been the King of Hyrule?”

Speaking more of The Legend of Zelda movie, its leading cast will feature Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda. Uli Latukefu will portray the main antagonist Ganondorf.
