Here is your weekly recap of The Young and the Restless for the episodes that aired Monday, August 3, through Friday, August 7, 2026.

Through the Eyes of Love

At rehab, Nick experienced a nightmare in which Matt killed Noah, and Sharon blamed Nick for not protecting them. Nick considered leaving rehab but eventually pledged to stay strong for his family.

Victor and Nikki decided to take a trip to Venice to celebrate their fresh start. Victor surprised Nikki with an impromptu vow renewal ceremony. Nick temporarily checked himself out of rehab to attend the event. Michael officiated the renewal with Victoria, Nick, Abby, and Claire sharing in Victor and Nikki’s joy. Victor and Nikki exchanged vows and expressed their enduring love to one another.

Victoria, Sharon, and Adam became alarmed when the rehab clinic contacted Adam (while looking for Victor) to report that Nick never checked back in after the ceremony.

Nick showed up at the ranch and admitted to Adam that he’d spent the night with Christian. Adam was touched when Nick asked him to look after Christian. Nick later called his dealer and bought fentanyl, which he promptly swallowed. Sharon and Victoria worried that something wasn’t right with Nick.

War or Peace

Victoria implored Kyle to let go of his anger toward Victor and move on, but Kyle refused to let Victor get away with what he’d done to Jack and Diane. Victoria pointed out that she and Kyle would one day have the ability to end the war their fathers began. Meanwhile, Jack and Diane learned that Dr. Markham had been arrested and that Patty had been moved to a maximum-security facility. Jack and Diane opted to focus on themselves and put any revenge plans against Victor on hold, while Kyle remained determined to get even.

Hello and Goodbye

Mariah returned home and informed Sharon that Tessa and Aria had welcomed her back with open arms. Noah announced that he and Sienna were moving back to Los Angeles. Sienna confided to Sharon that she had conflicted feelings about the new version of Matt, and she needed to put distance between them.

Danny surprised Christine with the news that he’d be spending more time in Genoa City to manage The Shadow Room on Noah’s behalf. Danny invited Daniel to work with him at the club.

Billy’s New Obsession

Billy threw it in Victor’s face that Adam had paid Sally a large sum to buy back Newman Media. Victor confronted Adam, who, in turn, blasted Sally for blabbing the secret details of their deal to Billy. Sally warned Billy that he had to find a way to put out the fuse that he’d relit with Victor. Audra later cautioned Billy that his anger could end up hurting both Sally and Spectra-Charles.

Cane and Matt commiserated over needing to prove that they’d reformed. Cane was irritated when Billy became fixated on uncovering the secret within Chancellor that Jill didn’t want him to find. Billy discovered that Chancellor had almost gone bankrupt years earlier but had been saved by a mysterious influx of cash. Cane threatened to reconsider hiring Billy if he continued to focus on the alleged secret instead of doing his job.

Nick called his drug dealer and asked for a meeting. Nick's dealer got into his car. They exchanged money for pills.
