Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding reportedly comes with a new date. The couple announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, with heartwarming pictures and a heartfelt caption. Ever since, the media and the internet have been abuzz with various updates about their wedding. Previously, Page Six reported that the couple planned to wed on June 13 this year ahead of Kelce’s new NFL season. However, there seems to be a brand new update now about their wedding date altogether.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s NYC wedding gets an update, sources suggest

There is a whole new update on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding. A source revealed to Page Six that the couple has sent out “save the date” cards to their close friends and family. As per the cards, Kelce and Swift will wed in New York City on July 3.

This comes as a surprise because previous reports suggested that the pair was keen on tying the knot in Rhode Island. The global pop titan owns a luxurious home that serves as the perfect wedding venue.

Then, last November, a source revealed to Page Six that the couple was in two minds about the Rhode Island venue. The insider shared that Kelce and Swift wanted to go “all out” at a totally different venue that could accommodate more attendees.

Interestingly, the pair has expressed their love for New York City previously. Swift penned the song “Welcome to New York” as an ode to the city. Previously, Kelce spent his bye week (a break from NFL games) by taking a fun trip to NYC with Swift. The couple reportedly stepped out for many romantic nights in Manhattan.

The Chiefs tight end gushed, “I went over to New York. Just hung out, man. Put the feet up. Saw some cool places, ate some great food. Got to feel the Big City and its electricity and its buzz that it’s always got.”

Furthermore, he added, “I think that’s one of my favorite things to do in New York: just, you know, be one with the city. Just kinda walk the streets and feel the electricity, feeling everybody doing their own s**t, and then meeting a few new people on the way. That’s another reason I love New York: I love to people watch.”
